Somme campaign remembered - 29th Sep 2016

Somme campaign remembered More than 500 crosses are planted  at Dunedins Queens Gardens  to symbolise the loss of Otago men in the 1916 Somme  campaign in northern France .
The crosses  will be there until Armistice Day. Each cross bore the name, service number and rank of a soldier.
