Gallipoli Commemorative Prints available - 9th Jun 2014

Gallipoli Commemorative Prints available Artist Gary Schofield has created a Gallipoli commemorative print and it's available to all RSAs and members for $10 each, plus postage. The print shows the New Zealand flag with the Southern Cross high above Chunuk Bair.

"The Gallipoli medal shows ANZAC and Simpson's donkey, representing the historic bravery and self sacrifice of those tending for the many wounded, while the Koru signifies the rebirth of nations," describes Gary.

"To the left stands a lone soldier of Gallipoli - George W. Stewart from the Auckland Mounted Rifles, chosen both for his poignant stance and because he endured the horrendous campaign from beginning to end. Stewart was one of only 13 survivors of his entire regiment and was decorated by his own country and honoured by the French."

The signed prints are 45 cm X 37 cm. Please contact Gary direct to place your order.
