POSY MAKING 24TH APRIL 2019

Volunteers are required to make over 4000 Posy’s on Wednesday  the 24th April at HMNZS TOROA, 211 St Andrew Street, Dunedin from 9am-12 noon.   Donations of Rosemary would be greatly appreciated by 9am on 24th April. This year each posy will be made with a sprig of rosemary and red paper. Rosemary symbolises remembrance, red paper the poppy.   On ANZAC Day the Posy’s are laid by Girl Guides and Brownies at the Services’ Section of Anderson’s Bay Cemetery at the 9.30am Service.   Tea and coffee will be provided and volunteers are requested to bring their own scissors and...

ANZAC DAY DAWN PARADE | Dunedin | 25 APRIL 2019 | 0630 hrs MEDALS TO BE WORN The ANZAC DAY Dawn service parade will be held at the Cenotaph Queens Gardens Dunedin. Veteran March on commences at 6.15 am -Dawn Service commences at 6. 30 am .- Wreaths will be laid as part of the Service. Relatives may wear medals on the right side of the chest.
